Put it on your board.

The board firmware is free and stays free. Connect the board with a USB data cable and pick your model. Boards with an ESP32 are programmed straight from the browser: Chrome or Edge on a computer, not from a phone.

For the nRF52 boards: connect the board, press the reset button twice in quick succession — a removable disk appears — and drag the .uf2 file onto it. The board restarts on its own with the new firmware.

Installing wipes the previous configuration. At the first connection the app asks which band the board is built for, 433 or 868 MHz; callsign and channels are set from the app. On amateur radio bands a licence is required.
