Informativa sulla privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: 23 ottobre 2026
3. A chi è rivolta
6.1.a GDPR).
GDPR).
44-49 GDPR.
8. Diritti
Accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, opposizione e portabilità (artt. 15-22 GDPR), scrivendo a [email protected].
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Lithos 54 is the app reserved for the members of a private cultural association in Brescia, Italy. This policy covers the app; for the website lithos54.org, its own policy applies.
1. Data controller
Loggia Lithos 54 di Brescia, tax code 91032500174, [email protected].
2. Who develops and runs the app
Railab S.r.l., Via Adolfo Ferrata 2, 25123 Brescia, Italy, VAT IT03984120984, [email protected], acting as data processor on behalf of the controller.
3. Who it is for
The app is reserved for members of the association with an active account in the reserved area of the website. They sign in with the same credentials; there is no sign-up in the app.
4. What data it processes and why
- Username or email and password, only to sign in: to check that the user is an enabled member (membership relationship, Art. 6.1.b GDPR). The password is not stored by the app.
- Name, membership level and account status, read from the website: to show each member only the content of their level (Art. 6.1.b and 9.2.d GDPR). Kept while the account is active.
- Device session code: to stay signed in without typing the password again (membership relationship). Lasts 180 days or until sign-out, encrypted on the phone.
- Attendance at meetings and absence notices: to organise the meetings (membership relationship). Kept as long as needed for the organisation and the association's records.
- Access log: date and time, action (sign-in, document opened, attendance), shortened IP address, device type. For the security of the reserved area (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Kept 12 months, visible only to the association's officers.
- Reserved documents downloaded: to read them inside the app. They stay on the device until sign-out or until the account is disabled, then they are deleted.
- Notification code and notification choices, only if the user turns on at least one notification in the Profile: the code Apple or Google assign to the app on that phone, the platform and the chosen notifications, to announce new, changed or cancelled meetings (consent, Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Notifications contain only the date, time, name and town of the meeting and go through the notification services of Apple (APNs) or Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging). The code is deleted when the user turns off all notifications, signs out, when the account is no longer active or when Apple or Google no longer recognise it.
- Point of reference for "Vicino a", to show the meetings within the radius chosen in the Profile
(25, 50 or 100 km) and, if the user turns them on, for the notifications of nearby meetings (consent,
Art. 6.1.a GDPR). The user chooses between:
– Casa (home): a town (by default the seat of the association). The name of the town written by the user goes to the website, which finds its coordinates with the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service; Nominatim receives only the name of the town, never any user data.
– Posizione attuale (current position): the approximate location of the phone, read only while the app is in use, with a precision of a few kilometres. The distance from the meetings is computed on the phone. If the notifications of nearby meetings are on, when the app is opened the location rounded to about 5 km goes to the website together with the notification code, only to decide which phones to notify; each opening replaces the previous one, no history. Going back to "Casa", turning the notifications off or signing out deletes it from the website. The permission can also be removed in the phone settings.
The coordinates of the meeting towns are found by the website with the same service, which receives only the name of the meeting's town.
5. What the app does not do
It shows no advertising, uses no analytics or tracking tools, does not access the phone's location unless the user chooses "Posizione attuale" (and even then sends it only to the website, rounded, for the notifications of nearby meetings) and does not share data with third parties for commercial purposes. Attendance or cancellation emails are written and sent by the user with their own mail app. On iPhone the app can only add a meeting to the calendar, when the user asks.
6. Where the data is
On the association's website, at its hosting provider OVH Srl (OVHcloud), in Italy, and on the user's device. Notifications, when turned on, are delivered by Apple or Google as providers of the notification services, including providers based in the United States, with the safeguards of Art. 44-49 GDPR.
7. Convocations received by email
Convocations received by email by the Secretary are read automatically to publish them in the app, through cloud service providers acting as data processors, including providers based in the United States, with the safeguards of Art. 44-49 GDPR.
8. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Art. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to [email protected]. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Sign-out and deletion
"Esci" (sign out) closes the session and deletes the documents saved on the device. If the account is disabled on the website, the app signs out by itself and deletes the same data.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated; the version in force is always on this page, with the date of the last update. The app's terms are on the Terms of Use page.
